My English Experience

To be honest it wasn't very useful, but that's mostly because I think that this class was too basic for me, my english is far from perfect I need practice and a lot of skills, but...this class was really basic, so I didn't consider it really useful, but it wasn't boring, I was with my friends and I was able to help them with their english, so, it was ok. I would hace liked to hace more classes, but better more advanced classesso I could improve my english, it's sad beacuse I don't really think that our college provides us with a suficient level of english and I whink that it's a really important skill.

My 2014

This year was a weird year, I think I liked it, it was a fun year, with lots of new and weird things. It was an important year for me because I started worrying about my future and thinking about what do I wanna do in my life, where do I wanna live, etc. I decided to star working in summer, and I started stufying on my own about the things that I like, I even star thinking about enorolling in extra classes in other universities.

The year it's not over yet, but I'd like to think that It was a good year, that I'm better than I was at the beggining, that I've grown, somehow.

My Favorite Movie

All these topics are too...desicive for me "your favorite this, your best that", I'm not the kind of person that likes to pick a best friend of a favorite movie, I actually think that that's something that have people in need of belonging somewhere, but, ok, I guess I can make myself choose, even though I don't like it.

I'll choose "Shawn of the dead" some people say that it's a horror movie but I actually consider it a Comedy, it's about zombies, but it's not scary at all. It's a Simon Pegg movie, one of my favorite comedy actors and it's part of a trilogy the "Cornetto Trilogy" actually, the only thing that these three movies have in common is the fact that a Cornetto icecream appears in all of them, also in one scene the protagonist tries to jump over a row of garden fences in all tree of them (he only succeds in one of them) The three of them are pretty famous, but I love Shawn of The Dead the most, it's the funnier one, in my opinion.

The best day in My life

Wow, talking about a "best day" in my whole life? I couldn't say, urm, well, I talk about the first good day that comes to my mind, recently, last summer, I went to New York and to Orlando with my boyfriend and one day, in Orlando, we went to Island of Adventure (the theme park), we had such a great time there, we got on all the rides and screamed and ate at Krusty Burgers. We took lots of pictures and was one the best days in my life. It wasn't my first time on a theme park, but before that I was there with my parents, and even though it was fun, being there with someone my same age, and the person that I love and have so much in common was a great experience, I could hold his hand on the rollercoasters and show him all my ravorite rides and places.

I have had plenty of other amazing days, but tthats the most recent one, I hope to have an even better day soon, thats my goal, to have a new best day each year.

I'm a fan of good memories in general, I usually take lots of pictures of my everyday life, I even have a journal, I always had one, and there I write everything that happens to me so I never forget about al the good and bad things.

My Favorite Piece Of Art

I'm not really an expert in art,  it's not that I don't enjoy art, it's just that I don't know much about it, same as with music.
I really like hiperrealistic art, that's my mom's influence, she always loved it and showed paintings of that style to me, I really love how with a brush and a little bit of painting you can recreate the worl in such a perfect and beautiful way, sometimes the colors and the details are far better than in pictures.
VianaArts-Ball Point Tiger
I love hiperrealism in all his forms and techniques, once I found and american artist that can make hiperrealistic paintings with Pens, BIC ballpoint pens, she uses like 5 colors and makes such an amazing art, it's incredible.
I also like black and white paintings with bits of colors, like a girl with a red dress o blue mailbox, I like painting of citys and of skies, but I always prefer realistic paintgs over abstract ones, I just don't get abstract art, sometimes you see a red dot in a green blackground and everyone is like "Oh, it's so meaningful" But it's not, it's a red dot in a green sheet and thats all, I can think of many different meaning, but it's still a red dot.
I guess it depends on your tastes. I not really a fan of any famous artists, urm, I guess I like "Starry night" by Van Gogh and the Sad Clocks ¿Melting Clocks? They make me think of Alice in Wonderland, I don't sure why. I hate the Sunflowers, they are really really depressing, and well, I think that's all. Oh I like Popr art a lot too, but just some of it, it's pretty cool, I would like to have pop art paintings when I get my own apartment.

My Future Job

These last months I´ve been giving a lot of thought to this matter, mostly because this semester I started choosing the subjects that I take in college, so I have to pick them thinking about what do I wanna do in the future.
My dream job would be being the Human Resources manager in a company in the US, but being more realistic I would settle with a decent job in the Occupation Psychology. I imagine myself wearing a suit sitting in an office, and working in all the areas of the company to help solve problems in different ways, I imagine myself making studies and thinking of changes to make the company better in different ways, I imagine myself traveling because of work to different parts of the world.

I´m studying psychology because I just didn´t know what else could I study, I just picked something that I didn´t hate so much, to be honest, and so far I haven´t regretted my decision. Just this semester I started taking Occupational and Organizational Psychology subjects, in my last year of college I´ll be able to get a Organizational Psychology degree, after that I hope I can win a scholarship to study a Masters in other country, because I know that as a Psychologist I´m at disadvantage in this area, normally this jobs are taken by business mayors, so I need more than just my title degree.

Some people hate office jobs, but I think I would enjoy it, besides normally when you have an office job you don´t take your job home, if I worked as a therapist I know I would spent hours and hours of my life thinking about my patients, it must be really hard to just forget about them after you get out of the office and continue with your life, I would hate to see my whole life revolving around my work, I would like to have a job that I like, but at the same time I need to come home and do other things, I´d like to travel because of work, but I also want to have time to travel just because I want to.

My favorite concert ever!

I listen to music that not many people like in Chile, but thats great, because instead of been between 1.000 people, seeing your idiols from far far behind, I can always be only 1 or 2 meters apart from the scenario, or even less than that, I go to the "Shady Werehouse" kind of concert and I love that, jumping and screaming with people that like just what you like is amazing, I think everyone should try it al least once. Last year I invited a really really shy friend to one of those concerts, he didn't even know the band but he didin't have anything else to do so we went togheter, I've never seen him like that again, so happy and free, jumping and dancing, he always says that it was a great experience.

Since I star living in Santiago I've been to many different concerts and I've enjoyed all fo them, but if I had to choose one it would be "The Used" concert. I mentioned before that they are my favorite band and I waited year after year for them to come to Chile, and finally, this year they came <3 It was an amazing experience, to see them so close, to hear them sing. I screamed, I danced, I sang and I cried. He was as crazy as I always dreamt he would be.

What Is My Favorite Music?

" The used"
Actually this is one of the questions I hate the most, people always ask “What kind of music do you like?” To answer that I would have to like just one or two kinds of music, second, I would have to know about the different types of music styles, and I don´t, I know that there is Metal, and Pop, and Rock, but I can´t really tell one from the other, especially when we consider that nowadays there are a lot more styles than that alternative pop, alternative rock, pop rock alternative, alternative everything, It´s not that I don´t care but…I not a musician, I just enjoy listening to music, just listening to it, I respect people that know everything about the music that they listen to, but I don´t so…I really can´t give an easy answer, I prefer to tell them about the singers or bands that I like, making clear that I’m actually open to listen new things.
"Fall Out Boy"

My favorite music band is called “The Used” I love them because I feel related to almost all their songs, because they are crazy and I love that. This year I was at a The used´s concert, it was amazing, I cried and jumped and screamed and danced.  I also like bands like Fall Out Boy, I used to like them back when I was a teenager and now they bring back good memories, also they cheer me up in the mornings or when I´m having a bad day.

"Billy Talent"

Lastly there is Billy Talent, I can´t explain why but I love them.
I listen to a lot of different bands and singers, they go from classic to pop, hardcore and rock and sometimes a little bit of metal, but it would take me too long to write them all, so I´ll just mention those three groups because they are the ones that I´ve been listening to more often recently.

A country that I would like to visit: Canada

If I had the opportunity to choose any country to visit in my next vacations it would be Canada. Why? Well, to be honest it has something to do with the stereotype that people normally have about this country, like a “ nicer version of the US”, it may be just that, a mere stereotype, but I know  a few people that have been there and they always say that Canadian people are, in fact, really polite and happy people. It´s also truth that it´s a developed and wealthy country, I have even considered living there when I graduate (first I have to get a job there, sadly)

I think it must be a really beautiful country, ever since I was a child I´ve wanted to go visit the Yellowstone Park (that may have something to do with how much I loved Yogi Bear) or the Niagara Falls, I would love to have a trailer and take a month or two to know all the beautiful places in Canada.
